RETAINING

Since 2012, John Ritchey Structural Engineer, LLC. has been providing structural engineering services for retaining walls.  JRSE uses information from the client’s civil engineer, architect, and geotechnical engineer to generate retaining wall designs.  JRSE uses RetainPro to design retaining walls and AutoCAD to draft plans and details.  Single or tiered walls of all heights and configurations can be provided for.  Walls can be constructed of concrete, masonry, mechanically stabilized earth (MSE), or a combination thereof.  

Structural drawings (plans) are furnished for permitting, bidding, and construction.  

During construction, JRSE will provide Structural Observation to oversee the retaining walls framing is built in general conformance with the structural drawings.  JRSE’s goal is to provide timely correspondence to the design team and contractors to maintain project goals and timeline.  

JRSE provides structural engineering services for retaining walls on Maui and Oahu, Hawaii.
